Sushi Classes

sushi class
Half day (3hrs) class. You will learn basic Japanese sushi making techniques including preparing sushi rice and filleting fish.

  • maki-zushi (rolled sushi)
  • nigiri-zushi (hand-formed sushi)
  • temaki-zushi (hand-rolled sushi)
  • gunkan-maki (battleship roll)
  • Chicken Teriyaki
fees
$130 per person includes: ingredients, text, recipes and tasting

number of people
Minimum 8 and maximum 15 people per class. In the event that minimum numbers are not met, we reserve the right to reschedule your class for a later date.

what to bring / dress code
Neat casual dress with flat non-slip shoes and no jewellery. Please bring your own aprons.
minimum age
These classes are designed for both men and women of all ages and for people with no cooking. However please advise if anyone under the ages of 16 years must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Please choose your class date carefully as rescheduling will incur the following costs: No charge applies for rescheduling more than 7 days prior to the date of the class. Rescheduling of a class 6 - 2 days prior to the date of the class, an administration fee $65 per person shall apply. A rescheduling of the class within 24 hours, an administration fee $130 per person shall apply

The fee can not be refunded due to cancellation

A full payment is required to secure your booking. If the fee remains unpaid, Japan Food Entertainment Pty Ltd. reserves the right to cancel your booking.
