1. SUSHI CLASS - $110
10am-1pm

1st, 3rd SAT

You will learn from very basic Japanese cooking technique, how to judge sashimi quality fish, fillet fish, wash & cook rice to make sushi ingredients, sushi rice, rolled sushi, nigiri-zushi, hand rolls, dashi soup stock and miso soup.

MENUS
- Maki-zushi (rolled sushi)
- Nigiri-zushi (hand formed sushi)
- Temaki-zushi (hand rolled sushi)
- Miso soup incl. making dashi soup stock
- Snapper kobu-jime if sashimi quality snapper is available at fish market

2. SHOJIN-RYORI - $110
(Japanese monk style vegetalian dishes)
10am-1pm
2nd SAT

Type of vegetarian cooking introduced into Japan together with Buddhism in the 6th century. Shojin is a Buddhist term that refers to asceticism in pursuit of enlightenment, and ryori means "cooking".

- Gomoku Daizu-ni (simmered soy beans with vegetables)

- Soy Milk & Okara
- Potage of Potato with Soy Milk

3. MENRUI, GOHANMONO & YAKIMONO CLASS - $110
10am-1pm

4th SAT

You will learn from very basic Japanese cooking technique, from dashi soup stock, udon soup, donburi sauce and teriyaki sauce to udon, donburi and teriyaki dishes.

- Wakame Seaweed Udon Noodle Soup incl. dashi soup stock and udon soup
- Kurobuta Pork Katsu Don
- Fish Teriyaki incl. Teriyaki Sauce
